Russia, Mexico, New Jersey and Austria [re]join the schedule for next year while the Indian GP is off (with the intent to return in 2015). The scheduling for the NJ race is quite precarious, being a week after Monaco and only another week before Canada. Teams have already expressed concerns about the logistical nightmare that will result with getting their equipment out of Monaco in time. Combine that with the uncertainty surrounding NJ race and I have my doubts that it will stay on the calendar.

I really do think we'll lose a race or two from that. I love F1 but that's too many races for the teams and drivers. They found 20 to be hard work last year, and what with it going right until the very end of November there'll be even less of a winter break for them to recharge...

They should optimize the schedule more, placing the races that are close(ish) together geographically closer together in the schedule. Being all over the world is great but going to North America twice separately, being in Texas, Abu Dhabi and Brazil within 3 weeks is kind of asinine.

Abu Dhabi closer to Bahrain, NJ, Texas, Montreal and Brazil all close to eachother, European season all together and eastern races all together would go a long way to helping the teams.

On another note, I really think the august break needs to go (I can't go a month without F1 damnit) or at least be shortened. But I've read that some in season testing is coming back, perhaps within that break so that may appease me.
